First run on the track

Looking to make my first run on the track, I'm a good driver but never went down the 1/4 mile. I have a 03 Max with full bolt ons... I'm unaware of how much power I'm making but the car is quick. Before i take it down the track i want to do a full tune up and check of the suspension, brakes etc... What can or should I do to prepare for a good run. Looking to see if my Max is capable of a 12.0-12.7 1/4 mile run.

For a first time noob, focus on learning the tree. Study it before you arrive. Reaction time matters.

probably 14.5-14.7. If you had a turbo with slicks you probably would get a 12.7

Out of curiosity what did you do to achieve the time in your sig, considering it was a stock NA tune?

I had a 96 maxima 5 speed, with 95 ECU.I did not have any timing, tuning, rev limit or fuel changes whatsoever.
It had a 3.5 in it out of an 03 altima. The engine had JWT 350z beehive springs and ARP rod bolts. This was for upcoming E manage ultimate ,that never happen.

Power steering and AC removed. Y-pipe cat delete pipe and cat back. At the track i removed the muffler. Under drive pulley, stillen intake.Ebay shorty headers.

Poilsh lower IM,

SSIM. Pathy TB polished with spacer.

Race weight was 2850 LBS,Including my weight. Car weighed 2600 LBS ,i weigh 250 .LBS

Mickey Thompson slicks. Mazda millenia rims

I advise against doing a burnout if you're on street tires.

Also, quick note, if you're only racing the clock, the tree doesn't matter, just work on your launches and start whenever you're ready after the green. Go around the water when you pull up to stage. If racing an opponent, learn the tree.
