what Could Cause This

On my 2003 Max GLE I've notice about three times, this last one scared the hell out of me, that when coming to a brake say at a stop sign, seems the car wants to not stop, and its nothing wrong with the brakes, but seems to want to accelerated. I've not noticed what the TAC was indicating because this happens too fast and I'm in the moment. The last episode I did notice the engine revved up and I had to put it in neutral to stop behind a car in front of me. Could it be the transmission speed sensor or the gas petal control sensor?

Yup.

Happened once to me a month or so ago at a gas station during idle, it all of a sudden jumped to and held 2k rpm. Pulled the code really quick, cleared the code, shut the car down and its been fine since. Pull an assembly from a yard (two nuts) or cough up $235.

Edit: I should add as well that the CEL light immediately illuminated when this occurred. Use caution and keep safe distances when coming to a stop.

That is the information I gathered through my research of the code (which I don't remember and no longer have a screenshot of). For the code I got, it was either the TB motor, accelerator pedal, or something else I forgot, but my TB is the new one on my swap motor, so I ruled that out, and the other thing didn't bother me enough to even remember what it was. Therefore I singled out the 16 year old throttle position sensor, which is the entire pedal assy.
