I have a 2002 maxima, recently cleaned the throttle body and now have the aforementioned code. I read that there is no iacv on these cars, but some say there is. Should I go about replacing the parts, do the idle relearn procedure or check for vacuum leaks? Thanks

 

There is no P0505 listed for the 2002 and newer maxima. When the IAC was replaced, the P0505 code was replaced by P0506. The P0506 is essentially the same kind of problem for the electronic throttle in that the engine idle speed cannot be controlled by the ECU.
