Ignition Coil Replacement Part Issue

Yesterday my 03 Maxima began misfiring and eventually threw a code for cylinder 5. I went to The parts store and got a Masterpro replacement. When I installed it the wiring harness plug would not match up to the new replacement coil. I removed it and compared and noticed the three pins on the original coil are offset to one side and the replacement coil had all three pins in the center. I returned to the parts store and they assured me they gave me the correct part. When I showed them the original coil they were confused. We eventually pulled other 3.5 Nissan and Infinity coils and found a match from an Infinity G35 and Nissan 350z.

Does anyone on this forum know how my 03 Maxima might have ended up with an Infinity G35 and Nissan 350z ignition coil wiring plug??

Buy from reputable sources, like Rock Auto, Courtesy Nissan and such. And stay away from god-knows-what brands for NGK, NTK and Hitachi for Nissans. They do not like aftermarket critical electrical parts.
