Another thread for another potential project. Anyone still kicking around on these forums that has this setup, or at least has pictures of how the seat rails are modified to make it possible? Theres an awesome write up on how to do it on the forums from way back, except for the fact that the pictures accompanying the write up are long gone. I kinda dont feel comfortable doing this job "blind" so to speak, so I was hoping someone here could be of some guidance on the matter. I pretty much gave up hope on finding 5.5gen front seats - I managed to find a set after over a year of looking only to have someone else swoop in and buy them within hours of the listing being made. Junkyards have them listed around me but calling them results in a guy telling me that they dont have them anymore - they just never update or take down the listing because they dont care. Ironically it seems to me that 350z seats are easier to come by, not to mention much nicer looking, so I might just go that route instead - thus this thread. Thanks guys.

As soon as I bought my Max I came across my "unicorn" item. A complete, new interior including all for panels for $800 shipped. So yeah I bought it. I've wanted to buy just a driver's seat so I can leave the old interior in while I fiddle with the car. Unfortunately when I do find them in ok condition people want 3-600. Good luck

Probably take less time to make any other seat for than the time your spent/will spend on getting a great set of Max seats.
