Tein coilovers might need replacing

I have a 03 Max that I bought with tein coilovers installed, should the ride be smooth over bumps or rough like mine are I hate hitting any bumps etc because it feels like they’re bottoming out! Really like the look but hate the ride

Tein's ride rough, or coilovers in general, but there is 32 adjustments that can be made to give more or less dampening on each coil over
