Help needed braked

2000 Maxima GLE. Have changed the master cylinder, verified that all calipers are working. Bench bleed master, bled, bled & bled some more and still no pedal. No obvious leaks from lines. Master not losing fluid. Getting a clean stream out of every bleeder screw. Fairly tight pedal when car is off but seems to lose all pressure when you start it. You can pump the brake and the car will stop but loses pressure again. ABS light is on. We cannot figure this out. Help please.

Did you switch the calipers? I mean driver side on passenger side vice versa? Because i did that ,had the same problems.

Because they will bolt on and look fine but the bleeder is to low when they are switched. So it can't get the air out. The bleeder should be on the top of the caliper not the bottom half.

Yeah, if it's bled, then it's that or calipers **** the bed.

All the calipers are correct and functioning. Took to AAMCO today. Free diagnose so... Said get a factory master(called Nissan they don't have the part anymore, too old. Suggested junk yard.) Or the ABS pump. But even if the pump is bad it just means the ABS isn't working right?

I told everyone my calipers were on right too. But i didn't actually put the car up in the air and take the wheels off. $800 later and 2 weeks and $40 in brake fluid. I was wrong they were on backwards, and i was even driving the car.

The car will drive fine with a bad abs. Just as long as it's not leaking and or getting air in it.

Just wanted to say also . Took the car to Nissan dealer also and they didn't see that the calipers were switched. They had the car for 2 days. I ended up finding it myself after i took it home.
