i finally killed my yellow top with lack maintenance and extended periods of dead. anymore the optimas are cheap and made in mexico. mine is way smaller than the tray. what's the largest group size that fits?

I just found this thread and my 2017 Plat's Battery is already starting to slow down a little and it's not even that cold yet in this part of the SE U.S.
I thought I'd see about a thousand threads on this topic, but for some reason, they're not showing in in the searches (Best Maxima Battery, etc.) that I've entered.
Any helpful advice is much appreciated. I have a pretty beefy aftermarket system (Two amps, both Sundown, 125.4 and (I think) 1KWx1, both Class AB, a front set of those crazy expensive Polk tweeters from about ten years ago and the rest are 2013 component Polks) and I'd also like to know if an affordable solution for the "not with an aftermarket front end you won't", source/preamp alternative problem has been found. (I don't want to stir up controversy, but let's just say I'm not an Dr. Amar Bose fan.) Thanks In Advance...
