A33 engine swap - food for thought

found this vid while searching for other stuff, something like this could not be done in oz due to our emission restrictions and the fact we did not get the VQ35 until the J31 maxima. watch the clip and enjoy.

There are quite a few of those swaps that have been done. It's known on here as the 5.7 gen swap.

Misleading video title is misleading. It's not a 350z engine.

to do anything like this in oz you will have to jump through hoops due to the fact we never had the VQ35 in the A33 model here. any power gains will probably be choked by having to run later model emissions to comply just for that.then there would be a brake upgrade to make it stop plus the fact that A33 models here now are cheap and most are high mileage .thats why everyone goes for low volume imports like skylines and silvias.
