Ok so I want to do a swap, but I really like inline 6 engines,
I can get my hands on a 1jz

What would it take to swap this engine, like basic idea

Or would it just be better to swap the vq35?

Why stop at a 1jz? Go big or go home. 2JZGTE

With $10,000 worth of parts overnighted from Japan, you should be able to run 9's.

Measure the length of our engine.
Then measure the length of the I-6
engine. Also allow a few inches for an adapter.

The problem should be obvious.

out of pure boredom, im gonna humour you

-move firewall back
-make a transmission tunnel
-relocate fuel tank and re-route exhaust for the driveshaft
-reform the suspension including somehow making a 240sx rear subframe work
-custom driveshaft/shifter setup goes without saying

thats just the tip of the iceberg, unless you have either a silly amount of money or a silly amount of time/fabrication skills dont even bother. for as much money as you would spend on it i could build a 10 second JZA70 for 1/10 the cost

O.K., so I want to do a swap and I really like 60* V6 engines,

I have one that sits in my garage every night.

What would it take to swap this engine into my niece's Bigwheel?

there have been at least 3 dozen threads on the subject in the last few years, and 1 person has fully completed a RWD conversion out of it
