It's leaking pretty bad from the tube that connects to the radiator, but not at the connection to the radiator, The coolant is coming out where it bends at the bottom of the top piece which is about an inch from the connection.

it's leaking from the connector piece right above where it bends.

Closer look, when I parked,and opened my hood , it was leaking very bad onto my drivers side cooling fan

 

The plastic disintegrates. The tube crumbled just from pulling the hose off on the last one I replaced.

 

how were you able to fix the tube? is there a specific part that i need to order?

 

I know it looks like what I thought was a simple fix by connecting it all the way,, but the leak is coming from the seal of the cooling hose connector

 

Pull off the hose. If it's fine and radiator inlet is cracked or whatever, then replace the radiator.

 

so I basically need to replace the entire hose

 

No. You need to replace the radiator

 

it's not cracked, i inspected the inlet portion. I couldn't get it in the pic, but when I first looked under my hood, the coolant was leaking heavily from the hose

 

This really isn't difficult. Install the hose clamp properly. Does it still leak? If yes locate source of leak. If hose replace hose. If radiator replace radiator.

If still not sure take vehicle to a repair shop and ask them to diagnose and repair a coolant leak.

 

Yes it is simple, just looking for a way to fix the hose without replacing the whole thing. If replacing is my only option, thats fine, it just looks like I may have to take off extra parts in order to disconnect the opposite end. I have looked around on how to get back there with no results.

 

That's why this doesn't make sense. There's nothing visibly wrong from your pictures other than the hose clamp isn't properly installed.

 

In the pics I put a description pointing to the hose connection itself, as i described its leaking from the connector. I'm referring to bend at the right part of the hose, not the part where i moved it to inspect the radiator inlet. It's simple, is there another connector component I can buy to solve this, or do I need to replace the whole thing.

 

if the neck for the hose has broken at the end and the raised part that helps seal the hose has perished you are up for a new top tank or a new radiator.i had the same issue about 12 months ago, the raised part had broken off and the hose would not hold with any hose clamp. easy way to check without removing hose is to run your hand along the hose where it is connected to the radiator to feel if there is a slightly raised part, if you cannot feel it, it has probably broken off.

 

The hose clamp is installed wrong. It's only clamping on the hose, possibly damaging it at this point. It should be clamping the hose further left, on top of the radiator sleeve. If the hose is damaged, it needs to be replaced.

 

This. I had the same thing happen on my car. OP, new radiator is cheap. Just get a new one.
