6th gen axle set up

a while back i herd running the 6th gen axles was better than the 5th gen ones any i know the hubs are different but do they bolt up to the spindle or do i have to run 6th gen spindles too

They drop right in. Just need the carrier bracket for the back of the engine on the passenger axle

As in the 6th gen carrier bracket is different than the 5th gen?

And have you noticed any benefit/advantage to running 6th gen? If it's the way to go, '08 axles will be going in soon. My Cardones are close to 20k slammed miles and although aren't terrible, have a slight vibration at 40 and I'm looking to get into a new set. 20k and 15 months out of a pair of axles at my ride height is fine with me.

My OEM axles were done, I didn't notice any "improvement" and haven't experienced any issues. The joints are simply bigger/ tougher. Yes the carrier is different. Others that measured the length of the axles found the 6th gens to be a wee bit longer. I dunno if '08 axles will fit, I think they need to be from a 6spd so up to '06
