03 Maxima Gone But Not Fogoten.Forgotten

After 18 years of ownership and 147,000 miles Ive let my 03 Maxima go towords a new Honda. It was a fun car to drive but was getting along in years. Will probably wind up in some auction.

Yeah traded it. Only got $1,000. Oil was fouling out one plug and coil..Replaced few months ago but started up again on way to trade for a Honda. I still have my 2008 Maxima and its had its problems with only 92,000 miles, but will keep it as a second car. The 03 was still clean, but.

I never did any upkeep myself and always took it back to the dealer for repairs.
Over the 18 years I put about 10k $ into the car to keep it in shape and on the road. Was fun to drive and I could afford it. Like I mentioned before above I still have an 08 Max and is now my second car. Unless you can do your own work on these cars, they can be expensive
to service.

03 max

Like I said..I dont work on cars anymore..this one..new alt, ac comp , radiator. Oil pan, motor mounts, leaking oil real bank fix, two sensors, struts, brakes twice, tires 3 times, idle pully...not counting oil changes...it all adds up over 18 years...

Can you name a car that's inexpensive to service at the dealer?

Damn. I would have driven from Texas and given you a $1000 for your Maxima. My 2003 needs a new engine and I would have rather given you $1000 for yours and fixed it. Congrats on your new car though!

Yeah, lm sure I could have sold it on the street and gotten more $ but I think one plug was getting oil fouled once in awhile. And it happened on way to trade it...not sure but I think it might have been fouled from the plug grommet. The car was very clean inside and out..it is what it is..now its history and will go to an auction...hope u can find another engine.
