02 maxima gutters and dies

As stated i have an 02 maxima and i got in the car one day, went to crank it up and it started strong, then immediately started to struggle and then it dies. If i try the gas pedal it dies immediately(no sputtering, just off) and it wont even start if i apply the gas. It had these codes at the time.

P0455-evap leak

P0420-cat bank 1

P0720-at veh speed sensor

P1574- automatic speed control device vehicle speed sensor

P144(is what i wrote down but i cant find that anywhere) vent control valve

So i replaced: --2 sensors located on the driverside of the trans(i believe are the 1574 and 720 they were the same kind of sensor) with 2 junkyard ones--1 02 sensor(bank 1 sensor1) with a new one.

After these repairs it still didnt start and popped 2 more codes(which i don't have on me right now) a high temp MAFs code and an IAT code so i cleaned the MAFS with cleaner and tried again. Same problem. I even went as far as to disconnect my lower cat just to make sure it wasn't blocking things up(cause i get a gas smell after starting)

The only code i havent done anything about, because i wrongly thought it was an interior AIR vent control valve, is the p144* code. But can a faulty vent control valve cause this kind of problem? Im at my wits end! HELP! I have pis of most of the parts etc that ive used, not sure if it would help.

Checked the fuel pump? Have you established that there is spark?

seem like alot going on, the gas smell is your evap most likely vent control valve, but it wont cause a no start. Id start with the possibility of a bad camshaft sensor one or both. Also check to see if your fans are running when you start the car. I had that happen, the car would start when cold, and shut off right after and not start back up. Ended up being a coolant temp sensor. Not saying that is your problem but a possibility.
