02 MAX AZ desert temps around 118 degs AC pumps out of the vents Ice cold! Freon level is good! When starting the car in the am temps around 92 outside AC isnt so cold gets cold after a nice drive then slowly gets warm.. My drive home in 118 degs 20 min ride nothing but I ce cold air! Any ideas?

 

a/c needs like a minute to start getting cold at 118f. how long are you talking?

 

At 118 degs the cold air starts up very fast and stays cold! The problem i am having is when its first start in the AM outside air is 90 92 degs thats when i notice the issue It takes a bit to get cold then as i drive off the temp will slowly get warmer! When i start up in 118 deg air then drive off the ac is ice cold my entire 20 min ride!
