Lost all my keys. Options?

Lost all my keys. Options?
I have lost my whole key ring.. I have to get a new key for my 2000 Maxima.. What are my options.. cheapest first please. TIA
I have called the dealership and they want 175 for one key and programming.. of course I will have to get the car towed to them for programming.. I would much rather order keys online and save that 45 for one key and maybe get a couple keys with at least one key fob. Anyone know if it is possible to order Genuine Nissan keys and fob from somewhere other than the dealership?

One thing you can try, assuming all lock cylinder has the same number of pins as the ignition and assuming all your lock cylinders are keyed alike. If you can get inside your car, open the trunk and pop the trunk lock cylinder out and bring it to the locksmith, have them make you a key using your ebay chipped blank. After its cut, try and see if you can use it to turn the ignition switch to on. If it does, then all you need is someone with datascan or a simple key programmer and most locksmith should have a key programmer for the 2000 model year. There's no rolling security code based on body control module or what not for 2000, it's a fixed code. All keys you want to work will need to be programmed at the same time because, any attempt to program a new key will wipe out all your old keys from the body control module. So once you know you have a key that turns the ignition switch, get more ebay chipped blanks cut and find someone to program it for you.

No doubt you're going to have some stealerships try to scam you, but you bully those idiots before they try to bully you.

I just had some new ones cut and coded on Monday at the dealership. It was $125 and it didn't matter if they were doing 1 or 2. fortunately I had 2, so it cost me about $60 per key for coding.
The keys I bought actually mimiced the old VW swtichblade keys, and it's really solid and works perfectly. I bought them years ago, but it's similar to this:

My dealership only charges $99 to cut and program keys. That's what finally made me get datascan. Even though my dealership was cheap I figured I would buy the software instead and get all the additional benefits.

Have any of you tried out the Silca SBB key programmer? It can be had for $80 to $100 ...beware of counterfeit ones though. This programmer can be used for many makes and models, and would probably pay for itself after a couple of uses.
Update: The Silca SBB works to program the existing key to a replacement used junkyard ECU. Instead of paying a locksmith $100, I bought the tool and DIY'ed it.

The cheapest way is to open the plastic where the immobilizer is, superglue your key on top of it. Then you can have keys made at home depot for $1or $2,. And you can have 20 keys for $20-$40.

If I had it to do again I would buy a blank transponder key for $7 from eBay, take it to a locksmith to have it cut, then use Silca SBB or similar to program it to the car or maybe even nissan datascan software. As far as adding a remote fob you can add a new one using a sequence of programming steps while inside the vehicle...details can be found via Youtube or google search. Remote fobs can be had for low cost on eBay used or new.
