Intake resonator delete

Hello all, I have had a cheap ebay short ram intake on my 2000 maxima for a while now, and I have been trying to find information on the org about removing the resonator between the maf and the throttle body because the intake I bought didnt come with a section of pipe to replace it. If I bought a cheap 3rd gen altima or 4th gen maxima short ram, would I be able to just take the section I need from one of those kits?

As long as it has connections for the hoses any pipe will do.

I read one post that said the only hose that needed to be connected was the rear large one for iac, the other 2 could just dangle. Is that true?
