I'm thinking of buying another 03 Maxima with a blown engine (127 k). 2012 engine with 40k out of an 07 altima. How much should this swap cost me. Its a shame its not a 6speed. But the cars clean and not a rust bucket. Located just outside Philly, any recommendations will be appreciated. THANKS

 

a 2012 engine from a 2007 altima... thats confusing...

that's a tough one man, but i would just look a lot harder for a non blown 2002-2003 and fix that up.

 

From what I was told the engine was pulled from the crashed altima.,which had 2012 engine in it.I am guessing that components needing swapped, have been swapped already

 

2007 Altima is the first year of the 2nd generation 3.5. If a 2012 engine was swapped in it still needs prep for the 2003 chassis and ECU.

 

2k and Up... if you were paying hrs for labor at a shop that does this. Its the labor that your paying for.
