5th gen Max in Limp mode

my trouble is my car '02 Maxima GXE 3.5l just went into either limp mode or fail safe which is yet to be determined, my alternator went and my battery as well and i did the 5th gen Maxima to 5th gen Infinity i35 cluster mod and i followed step by step on the pin swap everything seemed to work except the speedo and thats when the problems started first i didnt have OD and then it went into limp mode it wouldn't rev past 1200rpm or go faster than 5mph. So as you can tell i am in dire need of the software and i guess direction , i am in process of replacing the alternator, Im no newbie i know my way around a car, truck, dump truck, heavy equipment and also fishing vessels so i guess marine diesels...Any incite and/or suggestions, or direction please by all means let me know it will be very much appreciated....

Grab a copy. Refer to the "EC" section for work flow specific to each code.

But from the looks of it, ABS sensor/s and transmission speed sensor. There are two sensors on the tranny, a speed sensor and a turbine sensor. They are both the same part number. You did a bunch of wiring stuff though, could be your work and not a faulty sensor. The P0650 is nothing. The 0507 could be a vacuum leak.

I dunno man. Sounds like you've done a whole bunch of stuff. You're probably the only one that knows what's going in that thing now.

QUick Update

I have returned all of the plugs back to the homes from the failed cluster upgrade and now i have replaced alternator and the battery and no my alternator isnt charging when i had it tested 3 times at the local parts store, and still not charging, checked all the wiring fixed the plug at the alt.and also still in limp mode, does anyone have the reset procedure for the limp mode i cant seem to find a method that people use the most it always comes up with throttle body relearn, not sure why alot of people seem to think thats the limp mode reset or the ECU reset, its the throttle body relearn thanks everyone
