I have two sets of Yellow aftermarket ignition coils that immediately generate a P1320 when installed. I got them off ebay sometime between 2010 and 2015. They were <$100 with shipping. I forget the difference in the primary coils resistance from the factory coil to the MK.

Don't skimp on coil packs. Get Hitachi if you cannot afford OEM from the dealer.

Spark plugs are another finicky item. NKG's for life.....

It's BS like this that made me decide to never buy another Nissan and help with the RE of any Nissan ECU and other issues like this.

A lot of Japanese cars seem to have tight tolerances with electronics. The main reason to not buy Nissan anymore is mostly due to their incredibly ****ty CVT transmissions.

I recently restored the '01 with a 3.0L, so it runs and looks better than new. I have considered making the factory ECU accept the aftermarket coils. But an engine and trans swap is more likely in its future.
