AC through firewall uninstall?
AC through firewall uninstall?
I have a 2000 Maxima and I have some AC leaks so I'm fixing those.
Problem is this. I can't figure out how to disconnect the AC lines going through the firewall. I have a plate with a screw along with the two AC lines. I took the screw out but don't know what to do next? I tried pulling on the AC lines but I'm afraid of breaking something. Do you pull that whole plate forward to disconnect the lines? That plate has dye all over it so there is a leak there so one way or another I need to disconnect those lines. You don't disconnect them from the inside do you? That doesn't seem right to me.
There is a plate with the two lines and a space all around the plate and then a what looks like a metal housing around all of that. Not sure what to tug on?
