Tire Fitment

Got a 2002 SE. Tire size now is 225/50/17 but found a good deal on 225/35/17. Want to know they would have fit?

I’ve never seen a 35 sidewall offered for 17s lol Did you mean 45? 45 sidewall is okay.

back when I had my MR2 I picked up a set of 17" OZ wheels and they had 225/35-17 on them. the size is out there but don't do it, your car will look so stupid.

Not to mention the notable (and quite noticeable) negative impact on ride quality.
