it was a 99 i believe..... he was flying up behind me and i was doing about 70-75 mph then when he got next to me so, i let him know i wanted to play.... we both floored it and stayind next to each other, i actually walked him slowly but when i hit 100 he started catching up then i let off at 110 because of q rated snow tires (99mph rateing).......this was before ypipe install. i cannot wait to put my regular tires on........

 

Funny you say that. I ran a 325i with my old SHO at 135mph on Blizzaks!!!

The speed rating doesn't mean that your car will be limited to a certain speed. All it means is that it's not made to go above that speed. Like with maxgsr1's tires, they are Q-rated to 99mph. Sure, he could go faster, but the tire will not perform all that great because it wasn't designed with those speeds in mind.
I think there might be H-rated(130mph) Blizzaks available, so Maximam wasn't in too much danger if he had 'em.

 

Man if you didn't let off, you would've spanked him bad. Believe me, I've burnt some of these late 90's Q's so bad the driver doesn't even look over! Those cars are weak sauce. The early 90's badged ones, now those are definitely quick, don't waste your time with the Rollsroyces wannabe ones, find a '90-'94 but make sure you have a lot of strong mods.

ya i would've smoked him and just about everthing else on the highway if my bike was under me and not my car.by the way following you with mods maybe but, if we run into each other while riding the bikes i will not even be a race.(comparison a viper racing a mustang gt)hahahah, take it easy buddy i still wish i had a 2k2 but from a 25mph start i think my car is just as quick........when are you going to the track???i am when it opens .
