Odd CD Player Behavior

This ever happen to anyone? 2 or 3 times now my 2k1 Bose in-dash CD player, instead of resuming playing the CD cut at the point it was at when I shut off my engine, started at the beginning of the cut when I re-started the engine. Doesn't seem like a major problem, just quirky, unless it portends future problems. This occurred when playing CD-Rs (which I've been playing almost exclusively for several months).

Hmm, that's wierd. So far I haven't had any problems (knock on wood) with playing CD-Rs. Maybe you are playing a "cheapie" brand of CD-R that doesn't pick up well in the CD player? I use TDK and Memorex CDRs, I haven't used anything else. The Memorex ones are really cheapie, although problems with playing them in my discman, but the TDKs have worked well in everything so far (e.g discman, Bose CD player, Sony Cd changer, OEM changer).
