I'm getting ready to install some Maxspeed springs tonight.

Also, do I really need to use a torque wrench?

A big-a$$ wrench arm which gives you a great deal of leverage when lossening welded-on bolts (or rusted-on, etc.). A ratchet with a long arm or the combination of a wrench and mallet can suffice if you have enough space.

Yes, it's a big a$$ wrench - generally found in a socket kit, mine has a non-ratheting, flip style nub that inserts into a socket. Very veavy duty, designed for (ab)use

Im pretty sure you need a torque wrench to tighten those springs in too... you need a torque wrench with a setting of 35ft/lbs for the strut bar - one would think the same settings would apply. good luck.
