Stumped with this issue

My car is old but sturdy, I’ve been having issues with it wanting to stall while driving, it’s a 6 speed and only happens every now and then it’ll stall in all gears and neutral. Any ideas? Thanks

Any chance the fuel filter is just that clogged? Or perhaps the fuel pump (one unit) is going? Any codes?

When it stalls do you lose all power to the dash and all the dash lights etc completely die or do the dash lights and everything stay on like if the key was in ACC mode?

one code keeps coming back related to the thermostat but that’s all the fuel filter would be a good idea

I think the stalling problems went away on my 6 speed when I either changed my fuel pump and filter or changed my throttle body, upgraded to 75mm...

Test/replace the MAF sensor, check the fuel pressure at the rail, and clean the engine grounds.

I'd echo Nick's response and add to check the wiring at the MAF closely too. I had a similar stalling issue which was the result of a worn out MAF pigtail. It wasn't bad enough to make the ECU throw a code.

May also just need a throttle body cleaning. Mine was stalling at stop lights, cleaned it, did the idle re-learn process (painful) and problem solved.
