today was the big day. only thing I had to do this morning was install the power steering cooler hose, install o-ring on power steering pump, install CV axle and top off fluids.

once I topped all the fluids off I cranked the engine without the key on to prime the oil pump, 6MT starter is easy to get to. once the fuel got to the injectors the engine fired right up with no issues. with the exception of the flex pipe leak the engine itself sounds like new. the only thing I hear from the engine itself is the injectors working when I put my ear to the engine.

so far I put 70 miles on it and it runs great. I think I'm going to wait until after summer and instal a different clutch. this 6 puck is advertised as not being harsh but it's not as smooth as i hoped it would be...

I'll be sending the ECU out to Nisformance to get it flashed. might also convert to the newer style maf also

I was throwing random P0120 codes after my swap that would disable the accelerator. I would have to pull over, pull codes with Torque, clear them, then all would be well for a while til next time. Pretty annoying. I used the Nisformance kit. I chased everything down, even replacing my throttle pedal with a brand new OEM at $280. After I removed the Nisformance TB pigtail and hardwired the connector the codes never returned.

Good work on the swap.

my old throttle adapter I got on eBay that i believe was an older NWP started to act up, when I installed the Nisformance one that came in the kit it hasn't acted up ever since. I'm going to hardwire it in while the ECU is out. I may also do the newer MAF conversion and get my $150 back from the Autozone one with the lifetieme warranty, one of my friends is a manager their. may also return my old cam sensors from the old motor. i think they were $60 each

Use the money from the return and throw a new OEM CKP sensor in while you're at it.
