An ongoing ( 6 months) problem with my immaculate 2002 Max.$130,00 miles While driving locally or highway, my Maxima will turn off. Dash lights stay on. All else turns off, brakes etc. Critical move to get off the road safely. Wait 10 minutes car starts up, Runs perfectly for 2 or 3 weeks. Full power. No codes shown. Problem showed once starting car in garage, once after 25 mile ride. Many other times on the road. Local Nissan dealer has no idea, except trying parts with no guarantee. Any suggestions are appreciated.

OP, also check and test the Engine Coolant Test Sensor. When this sensor fails (when the car is nice and warm), it has been documented that sometimes the car will shut off.
