Subject:SB 2000-2001 Maxima "Hunting" With ASCD 'ON'
Summary of NTB03051:
IF YOU CONFIRM:
The vehicle shows a symptom, as if the Automatic Speed Control Device (ASCD - "Cruise Control") is "hunting" to set the speed:
· At highway speeds of 55 - 75 mph, AND
· With the ASCD "ON."
ACTIONS:
· Adjust the ASCD Wire.
· Remove and Replace the ASCD Control Unit.
