I had a 97 Maxima VG for many years and loved it before handing it over to my son when I retired. Sadly, he destroyed it, but it served him well! Now some 6 years later my wife said "Why don't you get a car?" HAHA I now have a 2002 Maxima Ti with 201,000kms on the clock and a few minor issues. The remote locking does not work from the key fob and I replaced the battery straight away., The security light flashes routinely when locked by the key. I had the same issue with the 97 car and nobody could help. Grateful for advice.
