while changing my oil the other day I noticed the actuator came loose from the variable induction flap. I put it back on and when I got to the parts store to drop the old oil off I checked it and it was off again. the Lowes was in the same plaza so I hunted around for small screws and picked up a 3/8" long #6 metal screw and it turned it into an easy fix. I used a 1/4" drive ratchet with s socket and threaded it in. don't have to fully tighten it, just get it on enough so the arm doesn't slide side to side much or come off..
I got lucky with that one. there's already a tiny hole so I didn't have to struggle with centering or starting the screw. I did quite a bit of driving around today and it held on nicely..
