How to: Rewire fog lamps to stay on with highbeams

Here's a quick guide on how to rewire your fog lamps to stay on with high beams in a 5th Gen -Remove steering colum plastics to access the white connector that plugs into the combonation switch (turn single and lighswitch stalk) -Cut the tape off the harness and locate the green wire in pin 10, that's the ground for the fog lamps. And you'll also need to locate either the black red OR the black wire for a ground. Don't mix that up with the red black wire -Strip back the black or the black red wire. -Cut the green wire and connect the vehicle side to the ground wire. The vehicle side not connector side -Solder and tape your connection, plug it back in and your done. Test then re assemble

I'm ready to toss my fog light out for the black fog light delete. even with headlight film they crack, I'm tired of replacing them... this latest set cracked within 3 months.

I have owned mine since 09 and also have replaced them at least three times. It looks like my favorite brand stopped making them, Depo.

And that protective film was useless for me too.
