So, I want to slightly lower my '02 Maxima (maybe an inch or so) and retain close to original ride quality since I have have no plans to track the car, just a bit of backroads spirited driving every now and again. I've searched around, looked on parts sites, looked on here, asked friends, etc.
I see good reviews on a lot of the cheaper coilovers from D2/Megan/TruHart. I have a few friends telling me to go with TEIN Street Advance Z, one friend swearing my BC Racing's DS series, one friend telling me to get Yellow's Digressive Valved setup, and my dad telling me not to get them at all XD.
Anyways, I'm really looking for what people are running right now. Are they close to OEM comfort? Do they handle well? I'm also trying to keep the price down, but if the expensive ones are really that much better, I have no apprehension about buying them.
I'm running Tein lowering springs with the 2.2" drop up front and 1.6" drop out back with KYB struts. feels good for a daily driver and handles welll at higher speeds. I also have all polyurethane bushings available from Energy Suspension as well as the Addco rear sway bar...
TEIN C/O are pretty solid according to most around here, i don't think they make SuperSports (SS) anymore but the one you listed is the latest and greatest. SS utlitized the shock strut mounts so it kept alot of the comfort, pillowball mount coilovers you are going to loose comfort no matter what you do.
if you want longevity though honestly just get some springs and good shocks and call it a day.
