Your right I did have a very bad r/t. But my 1/4 et was still better by about .3 or .4 seconds. I'm sure you have the timeslips!

Hopefully this weekend I can leave my intake alone and get better times in Baytown. I want a 14.5 or better. I ran 14.6 last week.

 

what did you do to your intake?

 

I wanted to see what the sound was like when you replace the resonator thing on the intake. So, I bought a rubber coupler and some 5/8" hose to extend the vent hose from the engine. It sounded great, and looking at my time sheets, seemed to add a little down low, but I believe it jacked w/ my ecu. Why, cause I took out my sub-box, took off my RSB (to get painted), got don's vb mod and ran worse than last week!

I will be going to Baytown soon.

 

When? There's another event in SA on March 8th. I hope I figure out my problem before then. If you go to Baytown lemme know, I'll go too.

I don't think its a good idea to compare to a different track. It was pretty loose in SA, and the track in Baytown is alot faster. I'm sure we can get it working well before then....Why don't we put some N2O on it just for the hell of it, like Ed said? We can put it on in a few hours one weekend, then hit the track.

It would definately be the fastest 2K2 anywhere.

Actually, I could do Baytown anytime over the next couple of weeks. You let me know. Yeah, the NOS is a possibility. I will email you to discuss. Maybe a 50 shot or so to see what happens.

You know what was strange is that my 330 ft. time was like .5 second faster when I ran my first run w/ that Ghetto intake. My 330's went up over 6 sec. when I put the factory intake resonator back on.
