Intake ???

I got the regular Intake. And I was wondering it's not oily like the k/n filters . should I oil it??

Huh??????

What's the "regular intake?" Don't oil a paper intake! That would probably reduce airflow to almost zero.

NO. It's a regular pop charger K/n filters are oiled

Okay, so you bought a pop charger without a K/N filter? What type of filter is it? Paper? What's the material? You shouldn't oil materials like paper. That's what I was saying. I realize that K/N filters are oiled.

It says K&N style filter.

K&N filters are oiled from the factory and come in a sealed bag indicating so. Did yours come like that? Does it say K&N anywhere on the filter? If not I think I'd be looking at swapping it for a real K&N. The knock off's aren't worth a dime. E-mail procarparts and ask them what the maintenance is and if that filter needs to be oiled prior to use.
