I sent an e-mail to Trenz this morning inquiring about the status of the grille for the 5th Gen. Here is the reply I received:

"We have a Maxima here now...We are probably about 2 weeks off from having it ready for production...I don't have any price or part number yet...If you get back to me in about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks I will have more information on the new Maxima..."

Thank you for your interest in TRENZTM.

SWEEEEEET!!!! I can't wait. Which one are they going to produce? The horizontal line one, of the diamond one for the 2k2 Alty? Also, I wonder what year 5th gen they have. I hope us 2k and 2k1 guys get to get some....sorry 2k2 guys, I don't mean to be greedy. I hope you guys get one too.

What year of Max are they working with?

Is it this (anyone have headon pics to see the full grille?):

or

This one looks good because of the chrome frame:

I love the second one.

http://www.custommaxima.com has the one for the Max like the one in the Stillen pic. $120 for the grille and $100 for the valence.

I'm giving SERIOUS consideration to adding these to my 2k1 Max.

Problem I have with it is that it does not have the chrome frame. I think the chrome frame makes it look a lot cleaner

Yeah, the chrome frame definitely gives it a clean look. I'm still in the debating stage though....

If you're talking about the chrome ring around the grille they both have it...they better not do the second one, StreetScenes already has one that looks the same...

I hope that they are doing the main grill AND the bottom valence in the horizontal style...
