Quick Bulb Size Question

I got received my replacement PIAA Xtreme White Bulbs in the mail today. I ordered one pair of 168 Wedge Bulbs, a pair of 1157's for the front turn signals, and a pair of the 1156's for the rear turn signals. I put the wedges and front turn signal bulbs in without any problems. I then went to put them into the rear turn signals and the 1156's did not fit the socket. I looked at the pin placement on the amber bulb that I had taken out, and they were positioned on an angle and the 1156's did not match the placement.

Which size bulb is supposed to go there? I read on three different websites that the bulbs sizes were 1157's for the front, and 1156's for the rear. Any suggestions would be helpful. BTW, the front and wedge bulbs look good.

Search big guy, this topic has been beaten to death.

All you have to do is basically shave one of the side pins and it works fine. Everyone has done that.

Thanks, I found it. I did do a search and read some stuff, and then I did a secondary search and found what I was looking for. Thanks anyways though!
