guys, i am just want to change my gf's rear signal light on her 2k maxima GXE. but, should i go with yellow(not amber color), or red?? i know red is legal but how about yellow??? and the high beam bulb for the 2k2 max is 9005 right?? cuz i have problem loading the "Parts list inside" forum. Thank for all your help

I think that if you go with red you will have to paint the bulb with translucent paint. I think any color between red and amber is legal for the rear.

I would advize her to just buy the 2k2 tails (around $200 for a pair) if she has a light-colored Max (like I did). I bought my 2k2 tails before I even saw a 2k2 Max...improves the look of the rear by 100% on Icelandic Pearl. The only color the 2k GXE/GLE tails look good on is Merlot in my opinion. If she has a darker color Max go with the 2k-2k1 SE tails.
