Which wheel for my black 2k1 Max?

These are three wheels that I am considering. I want something simple yet sporty. As you can see, I like 7+ spokes. I want 17 inch rims at least 7.5 wide. I am open to other options so please offer ideas. I'd like to keep the cost below $160/wheel. Does anyone know about the quality of these wheels? Thanks.

2 Others

I have 2 votes for "other" so far but no suggestions as to what I should get instead. Any ideas?? Oh yeah, no chrome!

Re: 2 Others

No offense, but they all look kinda cheap. Check out tirerack, they have some nice wheels there.

No offense taken

I've checked out every online wheel shop that I can find. I understand that a 17 inch wheel for less than $160 is going to look kinda cheap, but I know the Tantrums are pretty popular on here. Do you have any suggestions, tirerack has nice wheels, but not in my price range. I don't want to waste a lot of money on rims.

Why does nobody seem to like chrome here? Personally I think the Maxima looks best with chrome especially a black Maxima. In reference to what wheels you should get; I say none of the three. But in the end it really doesn't matter what me or anybody else thinks; the only thing that matters is that you like the wheels. By the way here is another website for wheels you may want to try www.victoriatire.com

Chrome

Basically I don't want to deal with the added maintenance required by chrome wheels, and also the added weight and expense. I have cecked out www.victoriatire.com before with no luck. If no one likes my options above, please suggest a wheel that fits my criteria: silver, 17/7.5 at least, 7+ spokes. Thanks.

Re: Chrome

Chrome is for pimpin. Light rims are for performance.

Try to get a 8 inch wide wheel over a 7.5 inch. Also try for a 35-40 offset.

Come on guys

Surely someone will offer a suggestion of another rim I should consider. 5 of the 8 votes are for "other." What should it be then???

Personally, I'd save up a little more $$ and get a better set of wheels. BTW, what do you think of the Axis 7's?

Honestly I don't think wheels are worth too much more. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Where can I find a pic of the Axis 7's??

I appreciate the pic but they are only 7 inches wide and $209!!! I would really like to stay under $160 and I'd like to run a 235 tire. Nice wheel but keep the ideas coming!!

Ok this the first 3 wheels I could find that was on www.superbuytires.com At least this everyone I would consider if looking for 7 spoke rims; doesn't seem to be very many 17x7.5 though. Anyways here they are.

Thanks for taking the time to look for those. 4 of them however are only 7 inches wide and won't accept 235 tires. Are my choices really that bad??? What makes them look so cheap?

Personally I think the Konig Tantrums are over done. By that I mean to many people have them like to many people have Civic's. There just old news to me.
