tinting headlights???

I once saw a posting that dealt with tinting factory lights, so that they look like the AE headlights. Does anyone know how do do this? Just want to jazz them up a bit! I would love the 2k2 xenons, but can't justify spending that much $$$$.

you can be the first in the ORG to do this mod. my friend did this to his honduh civic. you basically take out the whole lamp housing. get a heat gun and warm up the rubber insulation/glue. slowly open the case from there. you will see two pieces or chrome in there. separate the two and paint the non-parabolic one whatever color you wish... or if masking is necessary, do it. voila! there you go, 20th Anniversary headlamps. the only drawback is that you will get a little light loss b/c now it's no longer chrome.

good luck and keep us posted!

How about moisture? I know you can put a bead of silicone around it, but you can't be sure...

I agree on the 2K2 headlight upgrade...it's wicked expensive.
I'd rather put that $1300 toward rims.
Maybe a company would be willing to make the 2K2 housing sans the $1000 H.I.D. lights.
I just want those headlights...you 2K2 guys are LUCKY!!!

Yeah....sealing the lights back up is the one thing I am worried about. However if I mess them up, I guess it is time for HIDs

I kills me too....thinking about all the atuff nissan did to the 2k2.

I may just break down and buy them?????
