Got a new one today!!

I have been reading this forum for the past 6 months and haven't posted but maybe one or two things before, but I just wanted to share. I traded in my 97 GLE today and got a 2K2 super black w/ black leather and 6 speed today. 29 miles on the odomoter...my first new car, I'm excited to all hell. It has the Bose, sunroof, no HLSD or Meridian package, and I paid $26.7K for it, which according to the dealer and the stuff I printed out off the internet was below invoice so I was pretty happy with the deal. I only went to one dealership and the whole process took about 3 hours. The 65 hp and handling difference between these two cars is really noticeable, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. My first color choice was majestic blue/black, but they couldn't find it anywhere in the country and then I tried dark grey/black, but they couldn't find that either so I went with the black/black that they had on the lot. I drove home tonight basically staring in my rear view mirror at the auto dimmer looking at all the pretty green lights. That's so cool!! I'm retarded, but I own a kick *** Max now.

Congrats. I know exactly how you feel. I can't sit in the house for over a 30 min. without peaking in the garage or out the window to look at mine.

Congrats! If you're excited now, just wait 'till the full break-in. I've got 400miles left & have a HUGE grin on my face everytime I "stomp on it"... no WOT yet, though.

I too find myself looking back & staring at my car everytime I park it! Makes me feel soooo good

...tick, tick, tick. I've spun the rebate wheel. I'm waiting until March and it's KILLING ME! I want my MAX now. Gotta go now. I have this urge to go to the dealer and touch one. Bye. Have fun with your Max.

Congrats

I've had my 2K2 SE 6spd for 2 weeks now. I've aleady had people give me thumbs up as I pass by... especially at dusk when the HID's kick in and you can still see the car and the 17" wheels spinning by I've always been a Maxima fanatic, and it feels SOOO good driving a new "Four Door Sports Car" on a daily basis.

Enjoy!
