Just got back from the 1/8 mile strip.
I was the only sedan there. Also there were only 4 imports including me. A Supra that ran 8.0, an Eclispe GS who burned my *** with a 8.422, a Civic, and a supercharged Integra. The others were mostly American V-8's.
My best time was 9.862 with a reaction time of .104 @ 73.251MPH. Was trying to hit 9.5's as Madmax2K has done with his car.
This was my first time at a strip and I could not get a grip at the launch. Even with Madmax2K's suggestions it was damn hard trying to launch at the fullest potential. Maybe next time.

Hang in there Nismo.....The track is not as easy as it seems. I learned that lesson a few years ago
Still, a 9.86@73 mph is pretty good! But, youve got to get your reaction time up! Anything less than 0.500 is a redlight, which if you were racing in a competition, means you automatically lose. Thus, a 0.500 is perfect.
BTW - Your 9.86 in the 1/8th will net you about a 15.1 in the 1/4. Thats not too shabby! On your first time out youve already acheived what the best car magazines have!
