are turn signals on 02 also HID?

This web site claims the front turn signals (in addition to the headlights) on the 02 Max are also Xenon HID style. I never really noticed that, if it's true.
Can anyone confirm?
I have seen this on other luxury cars.

No, they are not.

HID-style and HID are two different things. HID-style usually just means the bulbs emit a blue or purple tinted light to look similar to real Xeon HIDs.

yeah.. your 'turn signal' ballasts would last about 3 weeks..

You'd probably never see the blinker...it wouldn't be on long enough to warm-up. Plus, you'd have to have two separate Xeon chambers in the same bulb to do the "blinking" action.

I wonder what luxury cars he is referring to which have HID blinkers.

i'm still thinking about converting the highs and fogs to HIDS and getting them all to come on at once. imagine that coming up the road at you.

Is there a fog conversion kit and who makes it? I just saw the TL guys have a kit. I would like to do this.
