The Max will definitely win. In fact, in the tests I've seen, the auto V6 Altima is faster than the new manual IS300, so the Max will be too.

Without mods... I would give the IS300 the edge in a very close race.

I certainly don't. In fact, I just noticed he was talking about a 2001 and not a 2002, so you can toss my post out the window anyway.

uuhhggg bench racing!!! It's all good on paper, but take it out on the street, everything can change!!

But since we are here, it would be very close, but I would say the Max. (Then again this is a Max board, so don't expect a good answer)

The Max would win if they are both automatics. I raced 3 IS300 when I first got my Max. The Max would take the IS300 by 1 car lenght up to 100mph. This is considering both drivers are fairly skilled.

skilled? what skills does it take to drive an auto? i mean...if ur on straightaway...

and to the person who started this thread...just run against one and find out for yourself..and don't worry...either way, neither cars will blow another away anywayz.

Really depends on who gets the best launch, times for these two are very close. I did beat one in my 97 auto up to 70mph he was at myr ear bumper.
