Raced Integra Type-R

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I pulled pretty hard on an Integra Type R last night. Both turning left on a green arrow, me directly behind him, we both punch it out of the corner. I broke the tires loose kind of badly in first, he got to about 2 cars, then I started gaining. About my low-mid second gear, I hear him upshift. I pulled like a mother and got ahead of him. We shut it down somewhere in 3rd gear. He slowed down first, I went with him. I ended up ahead. He wanted another run, but too many cops on the street we turned onto. So I just gave hima thumbs-up as he did his fly-by.

This a good kill? Sure surprised me the way I pulled in second like that.

i went to the track last weekend and there was a Type-R there. his car wasnt loud, he had the stock exhaust on there, no cosmetic mods so i think the car was pretty much stock. only thing he had was a pair of racing slicks on the car. he was running mid 13s. just a little bit of info for you to compare with.

Type-R's run between 14.5 and 15.5 depending on how good the driver is. There is one guy that comes to the track that has a Type-R with just an intake that ran 14.0!!!

yeah true. it very well may not have been a real typeR. i saw a Civic TypeS today (Integra "TypeR" with the "R" cut off connected to a Civic "Si" badge with the "i" cut off.

well first off the guy had slicks which will give u an amazing launch dont forget the launch and first 60 feet is what makes your time or breaks it! he also could have had a big shot on NOS on that thing the bad the about hondas is u dont know what they have until u either find out the hard way or talk to the guy and have him pop his hood! i raced a type r at the track and the type r ran a 14.6-14.8 nothin special compared to my family car running 14.3 hehe!!!

will

I’m pretty sure it was the real deal. Either that or he was an EXTREMELY good poser.

Type-Rs did come in black a few years back but then only phoenix yellow and championship white were only used.Could have been a fake, usually bolt pattern is a dead give a way 5 lug instead of 4.
