Need feedback on start up RPM

I have an '01 SE Auto that sometimes has a high RPM surge on initial
start up for just a second. It sometimes goes as high as 2200 but
only happens when the engine is warm or cold. It does not happen
when the engine is hot. Anyone notice how high their RPM jumps on
initial start up? Thanks guys!

mine is same..

as are all others.. it's normal

i believe we all start up like that, gets the car warmed up, or the cat or sumthing, faster...when the engine is already warm it doesnt need to heat up.....but hey, maybe i dont know what im talking about either
