I had Dunlop SP5000's on my '98 Grand Am before I traded it for the 02 Max. My Grand Am had tighter handling than my SE with stock tires does-- Those tires are awesome! All-Season helps out too, living in South Dakota.

But ONLY if you're running aftermarket rims with at least a 7.5" width.

Yeah, I was gonna ask what rims he has. You can't get 17" SP5000's for the stock rims on the Maxima.
