2002 heater system
2002 heater system
Quick question, on 2002 heater system (manual, not the automatic system) can you get the recirculation button to be on with the airflow in the foot position? Reading the manual says "For quick heating, move the air recirculation button to the ON position". My recirc only comes on in the first two air flow positions, vent and bi-level. After that, its off no matter if the button is pushed in or not.

I've been meaning to post this very question for some time now (thanks for saving me the trouble!). I also have the "manual" system on my 2002 and mine behaves just like yours: In spite of what the owner's manual clearly says, the recirculate mode does NOT function with the air flow directed to the floor only.

I'll have to recheck but the only time the recirculation button turns off for me is when i have the defroster on.

I almost forgot about this thread. Anyway, yep... same thing happens to me as with all you guys. It never bothered me before... but seeing everyone has the same issue it's starting to bug me now LOL!
