Fix for the Bose rattling problem
This is a very messy way of doing this but it works.
first duck tape every hole under the rear deck in the trunk. Then disconnect and remove the bose sub. Then comes the messy part, take a can of "Great Stuff"(foam insulation) and spray under the deck lid. Don't spray to much toward the window because it will come up onto the glass. Let it dry a couple hours before removing the tape.
This is the only thing that worked in my car. I have had the dealer try to fix it even though they said it was fixed it really wasnt. I have compleatly taken the back of my car apart and tried using regular insulation and rubber undercoating yet nothing worked.

I suspected this might work! Luckily, the rattle doesn't really make itself apparent with the type of music I listen to. I have used that stuff around the house. Make sure you wear gloves (I like the surgical kind) because that stuff is very nasty to get on your hands, and difficult to get off!

I got great results from simply using some Dynamat and covering most of the rear deck (underneath). Only once and a while does a rattle show and its usually hidden by the extra volume that can be used.
