Engine Noise

I got my car checked by Nissan today because there was a high pitched noise coming from my engine...other than the noise from the intake. It turns out that...or what they said was that the "after market equipment pulling too much air causing too much air flow at rear main seal, causing noise. Can loosen oil cap, noise goes away, do not drive with cap loose...may not cause leak at reat seal, but could cause higher oil consumption."
What do you guys think and are you experiencing the same noises? I have a Weapon-R hyoer intake. Also, can I do anything about the noise, such as getting a new rear main seal or some type of piping? And last, should I change my oil more frequently then 3000 or 3 month. I should be getting my ninja kit on Wednesday in the mail and if I need to do any major pipe work or anything I would like to get it done before putting on the kit. Thankx for the input!!

You got any pics of your Weapon R intake? I have yet to see anyone with one. I thought they were still looking at making one for the 2000-2001 Cars.

Not yet but it fits and works great...hence the sucking in too much air problem. After I get my kit put on...hopefully by Saturday...i plan to take some pictures so i'll take some of the intake also and post them.
